I have to admit that I was not a real Nintendo gamer. For me those games couldn’t grab me during my C64 and Amiga era. I bought a Game Boy, Game Boy Color and 3DS XL for it’s handheld/portable reasons. The NES and SNES could never bother me. I had a Wii as that was a new way to play with the nunchucks and wiimote.
Sonic was a fast pace game that caught my attention as a kid, fast and cool. I love it on my Sega Game Gear.
