OutRun C64

Playing OutRun on the Arcade was an amazing experience as a kid. In 1987 we were able to play it on our home computer the Commodore 64.

Back then it was clear the arcades were superior to the home computers. The deception was very big. Later the Amiga port was even worse if you compared the power of the Amiga to the C64.

It was not a bad game but the difference between the real deal and at home was too big.

I have two editions of C64/128 OutRun. The Kixx and Sega published editions. Ok. To be precise three editions as I have the Sega in white and black tapes 🙂

Other OutRun editions in my collection:
Game Gear OutRun
Sega Master System OutRun
MSX OutRun
