When I had the Amiga 2000A this Amiga had 512k CHIPMEM and 512k FASTMEM which was a big difference with the 256k CHIPMEM of the Amiga 1000 and 512k CHIPMEM only on the Amiga 500. Later models of the Amiga 2000 and 500 had 1 MB CHIPMEM.
It was a big surprise when my parents bought me an 8 MB Memory Expansion Board for my A2000. I had a total whopping 8.5 MB FASTMEM usable for my Deluxe Paint III Animations 🙂
