Commodore 1702 Color Monitor

Sometimes you see a setup in real life and think wow that looks amazing. This happened to me during a meeting of HCC Commodore when I saw a Commodore 64 hooked to a 1702 monitor.

It matcbed perfectly and the screen quality was unbelievable.

Thanks to Marvin and Matthew I have now a nice one in my collection.

Commodore 1702 with cover open
1702 with Y/C inputs

The 1702 is a special monitor because of it’s Y/C connection, aka S-Video. Connecting devices from the 8 bit era is really a good match for this monitor.
